This is the Rain Diary, the blog, portfolio, advice, book review, and fashion vault of myself, Kylie Cheung. What you will take away from here, I really can't say; the Rain Diary is more for my own self, a collection of things I love.
Daily posts, poetry, novels, articles, famous and beloved quotes, videos, advice columns and the likes.
As I admit to having a near unhealthy obsession with Tudor England, I may make references to characters of the time or events; most of my book reviews will be on Tudor-era historical fiction novels, and unpublished novels from Booksie.com (with author permission, of course!).

Primary Interests: History (Tudor-era England), reading historical fiction
Hobbies: Writing (anything, really!), playing the flute, dancing
Brief Bio: As the above has already stated, I am Kylie Cheung and I live in California, USA. Honestly, there isn't much more to me, other than the fact that I love to write, and of recent have become more ambitious in my writing, and am a passionate vegetarian. I'm currently trying to be a vegan, though it has proved difficult.
What I treasure above all else is my novel-in-progress, Myuri, (read here). I have been working on it for so many years, and have grown, changed, and matured with it.
I have two sisters, and a mom and a dad; your typical family. I also have the sweetest pooch, named Miku. (Pictured to the right). I have had her in my life since the first grade, and I can't imagine being without her.
Beyond my passion for animals, writing, and Tudor England, I also am in love with Hong Kong. I honestly think it is the most beautiful place in the world, and nothing could make me happier than a spending a summer in it. It's beautiful; that romantic city feel is to die for. And, unlike most places in Asia, English is also a main language. (I can only speak/understand English!).
I also very much enjoy fashion. It's such a magical word, isn't it? I particularly like dark colors: black and white floral patterns, black cardigans and vintage style tees, and etc. Dark and understated is totally me. My mother of recent taught me how to sew, and I intend on hitting up a fabric store, picking up some gorgeous fabric and piecing together the dress of my dreams, someday. I also find pleasure in simply staring at gorgeous dresses, no matter how unattainable, and sometimes seek inspiration from them to incorporate in my own daily style.
